Medical Care Discriminates!!! IS this right???

I have had this thought so many times and lately it is really getting to me. If you can afford the right insurance you can get medical care any where you need it. If you don't have the right insurance but the money you can also get it anywhere you need it. That even includes going out of the country to get the medication you need or the treatment you need, that may not be approved in the United States.

Recently my insurance which I pay quit a bit for has stopped covering my medications they say I have reached my quota for the year. Well, then what am I supposed to do. Right, pay for it my self some of my prescriptions are $300.00 each and so if I get them filled that is alot. That is a month and that is only one prescription. So I will do without it as I don't have that kind of money. I have had to tell my Drs to not prescribe certain medications that would work better than others because they cost to much or are not covered by my insurance.

One of my grandchildren has no insurance. Why, the company that his father works for does not offer insurance and the company his mother works for offers it but if she pays for it then her check would not be enough to cover the other bills to live. The other grandson has state provided medical insurance for now and they say mom makes too much money to qualify for assiatance for the other son. His will probably end soon too. They cover it for younger children saying they are more apt to need care than older children.

So if you have alot of money you can get the care you need for what ever your medical needs may be.

I recently received my open enrollment forms for my insurance for this coming year. Wow What a shock. The premium is going up and the copays, and deductables are too. Is my income NO!

What are people supposed to do? I get so upset about insurance. My husband does have medicare and luckily is a US Veteran and can get help at the VA clinic and hospital but if he were not a veteran what would we do?

I wonder about those people out there who need treatment for an illness and can not afford it or their insurance if they have any will not cover it. Why is it that someone with money can get an organ transplant because they can afford it when another person needs the same transplant or treatment but can not afford it so they may die? Just food for thought!

Why should medical care be dependent on the amount of money you have? There has to be a solution!!!
